Carpet Ramps

Carpet sports? Nope … much simpler..

Carpet ramps are when you have two rooms or two halves of a room that have different carpets, and a join between them. Instead of having an ugly cap between the carpets, or between the carpet and a wooden floor for example, you will have a carpet ramp to make up the gap which will look much better than leaving it blank.

Some people call them T-bars, some people call them D ramps – either way its just a carpet ramp.

Instead of you being an expert simply ring us up, tell us what you have, and we’ll tell you what you need! The best solution is to match up with your skirting boards and architraves, so if you have oak skirting boards for example, you will want to go with an oak carpet ramp. If you have any other type of hardwood skirting boards then you will probably want to match that as well.

We wouldn’t really recommend MDF for your carpet ramps, even if you have mdf skirting boards because it always looks so much better in oak or something else. However if you’re just after saving costs, and want to paint it – hey – you can certainly do that if you’d like and we’ll make it for you!
